JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Audience Growth & Engagement Coordinator assumes a key operations role in the execution of the Club’s game day experience, assisting with the roll out of Club and partner activations aimed at strengthening fan engagement and instilling a sense of belonging.
The Audience Growth & Engagement Coordinator will assist with the planning and execution of innovative fan engagement initiatives across a variety of touchpoints including open training sessions, Richmond Match Days, and fan engagement activities locally, regionally, and nationally.
Working collaboratively across the Club, the Audience Growth & Engagement Coordinator will also support the delivery of consumer, marketing, and community outcomes.
Outstanding communication combined with efficient and effective systems will ensure they maintain strong relationships across the business and maximise outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with the development of an innovative Richmond Match Day presentation and fan experience across both our men’s and women’s programs.
2. Assist with the Match Day execution and logistics
3. Assist with opportunities for local, regional and national engagement when teams travel
4. Coordinate open training sessions and fan events at Punt Road Oval and within specific local communities
5. Assist with the creation and distribution of the Club’s marketing collateral and giveaways, geared towards audience growth and enhancing overall engagement
6. Oversee the Club Mascots on Match Day, taking bookings and setting roster accordingly for all Richmond match days and general events
7. Develop associated marketing plan and assets to maximize acquisition opportunities identified in the plan
8. Maximize the opportunities presented by Tradeable Bits to grow database and support commercial partner objectives
9. Assist the Club’s relationship with its preferred charity partner, the Alannah & Madeline Foundation
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
1. Ideally completed or undertaking tertiary qualifications in the area of marketing and/or business as relevant.
2. Minimum 12-months of relevant experience.
3. Project management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage varied and multiple projects with conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines including organising and executing events.
4. Strong competency in the Microsoft Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
5. Proven problem-solving ability.
6. Experience and understanding of dealing with external stakeholders and clients and external contractors.
