In 2011, the Richmond Football Club launched the Fighting Tiger Fund (FTF). The objective was to raise $6 million to enable the Club to make the required investment in its football program and to reduce the burden of debt. This wasn't about making Richmond competitive, it was about making the Club great.

Almost 24 months on, the Club has taken some significant steps forward and has reached its ambitious $6 million target in pledged funds. It is an exceptional result, made possible thanks to the generous support of those who have invested in the FTF.

Following overwhelming feedback from previous FTF contributors, and the broader membership base, in 2013 the Club's focus will be the development of our emerging talent, which is critical to creating the depth that future success will be built upon. We want to ensure players such as Brandon Ellis, Jake Batchelor, Reece Conca, Todd Elton, Brad Helbig and Brett O'Hanlon, can make the necessary improvement to help the team achieve sustained success.
