National Sports Museum

 


AFL Club members are entitled to purchase entry to the National Sports Museum at concession levels on presentation of their current AFL Club membership card.

The National Sports Museum, located at the iconic MCG, features more than 2500 sporting artefacts and extensive multi media displays. 

Showcasing the great moments in Australia’s sporting history, the museum includes a number of permanent and temporary exhibitions focused on

Australian football, boxing, basketball, cricket, cycling, Olympic and Paralympic Games, soccer, tennis, rugby union and rugby league.

Australia’s Game is a dedicated Australian football gallery and the history of our only indigenous game. Each of the 16 AFL Clubs is featured within the Club Room; James Hird comes face-to-face with the audience in 3D in James Hird ‘Off the Bench’ and the Australian Football Hall of Fame now calls the National Sports Museum home.

The museum is open daily from 10am – 5pm and is located at Gate 3 of the MCG.Opening times may vary when events are being held at the MCG. For more information, please visit www.nsm.org.au
