The steep learning curve of Richmond’s first-year players will continue today, with an induction program run by the AFL Players Association.

After a month of intense training in the Tigers’ pre-season campaign, the Club’s newest cubs will join other AFL youngsters at Etihad Stadium to discuss a range of issues relevant to young players beginning their AFL journey.

Join the Tiger Army in 2013 by becoming a member.  The Roar is Back.

Key themes of the event will include resilience, decision making and communications, with attendees participating in interactive workshops associated with playing football at the elite level.

Attendees will also be introduced to the range of AFL rules, codes and regulations, as well as receiving information on the array of services available to them as members of the AFL Players’ Association.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Richmond playing group returned to training today, after a two-week break over the Christmas holidays.
