Richmond is pleased to announce the SCF Group as the Club’s ‘Development Partner’ for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

SCF will be influential in supporting the development pathway of Richmond’s reserves team.

The company is based in Adelaide and is an independently owned and operated Australian business, dedicated to the sale and leasing of cargo shipping containers.  It is the leading supplier of storage containers to Australian transport resources, construction and static storage industries.

SCF has recently expanded their operations by opening an office in Melbourne.

Through the partnership with SCF, Richmond has also built an alliance with the West Adelaide Football Club, which the SCF Group also supports. The partnership will see the two football clubs share football development knowledge and administration experience.

“SCF is pleased to partner with Richmond – a proud and historical football club, with great prospects on and off the field,” said SCF Group CEO Richard Sykes.

“We’re excited by the partnership and engaging with the Tiger faithful, and wider Victorian community, as well as supporting the re-emergence of Richmond’s stand-alone VFL team,” he said.

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said the new partnership with SCF Group was another step forward for the Club’s football development area.

“The prospect of having our own stand-alone reserves side is very exciting for Richmond and our fans, and it’s great that SCF Group have recognised the potential in this partnership, to help bring the Club’s reserves team to life.”
