If Richmond is to defeat the third-placed Port Adelaide at Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, it will have to overcome a poor home record against the Power.

The Tigers have not saluted against Port in Melbourne since Round 6, 2005, although they’ve not been defeated in the last three encounters between the two sides (including one draw).

Richmond has won its last two games of the 2014 season, while the Power have dropped three of its last four matches, which includes narrow defeats against Essendon, Adelaide and Sydney.

The result may hinge on the battle of the midfields, with the likes of Travis Boak, Hamish Hartlett, Brad Ebert and Kane Cornes going head-to-head with Trent Cotchin, Dustin Martin, Brett Deledio and Brandon Ellis.

The ruck duel between Ivan Maric and Matthew Lobbe will also go a long way to determining the outcome.

The Tigers will celebrate two milestones on Sunday, with Jack Riewoldt playing his 150th league game, and Alex Rance reaching 100 games.
