Young midfielder Anthony Miles has captured the imagination of the Yellow and Black faithful in six senior appearances so far with Richmond, due to his exemplary work-rate, tenacity, toughness and ability to rack up a stack of disposals.

Tiger fans had the opportunity today to pose questions to Miles via a web-chat session on the Club’s website.

Miles responded to a broad range of questions, and here are his thoughts on several topics that came up in discussion . . .

The biggest difference between GWS and Richmond . . .
“I think just the senior experience that Richmond have.  GWS have got a few senior guys in this year to add to the young talent that they have.  Nathan Foley is an example of a player here, who has been good for me.”

The biggest factor involved in his turnaround at Richmond compared to GWS . . .
“I think, for me, it’s consistency.  And having the opportunity to play multiple AFL games.”

Settling in at Tigerland . . .
“I think the whole playing group as a collective, and all the coaching staff, have been fantastic in my development, which has helped me settle in . . . The professionalism that all staff and players have here is great, and the one goal that we all strive for is improving and the comradeship we all share.  I enjoy being in the Melbourne bubble of footy.”

The AFL team he barracked for growing up . . .
“I supported the Saints.  My old man went for the Saints, so I followed suit . . . He’s converted now.  I think ‘Cotch’ (Trent Cotchin) is his favorite.  Lenny Hayes was my favorite player growing up.  What a fantastic career he’s had!

His goals for the rest of the year . . .
“I hope to be able to play the remaining six matches in the senior side and have success as a side, too.”
