Brett Deledio’s mid-air snap shot against Sydney has been voted the fifth best goal of the year by Richmond fans.

During the first quarter of the Tigers’ crucial Round 23 match against the Swans, Deledio was lurking inside 50 as Jack Riewoldt gathered a hard ball in slippery conditions.

The ball fell from Riewoldt’s grasp and into the path of Deledio, who failed in an attempt for a soccer style finish.

He then gathered the bouncing ball with his left hand, was slung in a tackle by Ted Richards, but still managed to kick truly.

The number four goal of the year, as voted by Richmond fans, will be revealed tomorrow, Tuesday September 23.
