Two of Richmond’s brightest young prospects have been added to Richmond’s VFL squad for this Saturday evening’s match against Casey.

Tall forward Reece McKenzie and rebounding defender Jason Castagna, who both missed last week’s narrow loss to Collingwood, will bolster the line-up against a Casey side with the same 2-3 win-loss record as the Tigers after five rounds.

Experienced defender David Astbury also returns to the side, after missing last week.

2014 Murray Bushrangers captain Nick Mellington has been named for his first game for the season, as Richmond’s 23rd player.

All seven players named in the AFL extended squad have been named in the VFL squad, before teams are finalised at 5pm today (Friday).
