Richmond will take on North Melbourne in the first week of the 2015 finals, on Sunday, September 13, at the MCG.

The AFL announced the schedule for the opening round of the finals on Saturday night, with the Tigers booked to compete in their third straight elimination final.

It will be a rematch of last Friday night’s game at Etihad Stadium, when the Tigers triumphed by 41 points against a depleted Kangaroos outfit.

In the other encounter between the two sides earlier this season, in Round 6 in Tasmania, North Melbourne won by 35 points.

Richmond finished the home-and-away season in fifth place on the ladder with 15 wins, matching its efforts in 2013.

Tickets for the elimination final will be available from Monday, and a number of fan activities and match-day information will be announced in the coming days.
