Richmond assistant coach Ben Rutten provides his opinion of the two young, tall Tiger forward additions to the line-up for Saturday’s Round 22 encounter with St Kilda at the MCG – debutant Callum Moore and Todd Elton, who will play just his third game in five seasons at the Club.

On Callum Moore

“Callum’s a really athletic, fast, mobile key forward, who loves a jump at the ball.

“He’s got all the athletic traits that you want to see in a forward . . .

“He’s been in some good form in the VFL and we’re really excited to see him.”

On Todd Elton

“Toddy’s had a bit of an interrupted year through injury . . .

“He’s played a bit in defence and also up in the forward line.  But the last few weeks, especially, he’s been really jumping at the ball and competing well in the aerial contests . . .

“That’s something we need and we’re going to reward him for that.”
