Richmond is supporting this Saturday’s 10th annual Diwali Festival at Federation Square.
The festival celebrates the rich culture of India and is one of Melbourne’s largest cultural events.
While Diwali is commonly referred to as the ‘festival of lights’, for Hindus it is actually about celebrating inner light and the belief that good will triumph over evil.
Richmond mascot Tiger Stripes will be at Saturday’s festival, alongside footy inflatables and Richmond giveaways.
The festival features all things Indian with traditional dance, music, cuisine, arts and crafts.
