Young contested midfielder Jack Graham will make his yellow and black debut for the VFL Tigers this Saturday.

The 19-year-old will play his first match for the Tigers when Richmond VFL hosts Geelong VFL at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval, in a curtain-closer to the AFL match against Sydney at the MCG.

Graham landed at Richmond with the Club’s second pick, No. 53 overall, at the 2016 AFL National Draft but has so far experienced an injury interrupted debut season.

The North Adelaide product battled a hamstring injury during the pre-season, before experiencing a further injury setback in late-March when he sustained a small fracture in his left ankle.

The VFL Tigers are fresh off a bye, with their most recent match a nail-biting five-point loss to Werribee at Beaconsfield’s Holm Park Recreation Reserve.

Craig McRae’s side sits 10th on the ladder following three wins and five losses, with Geelong VFL close behind in 11th place.

Saturday’s Round 9 match kicks off at the Swinburne Centre, Punt Road Oval at 4:30pm.

Gates open at 4pm and entry is free for Richmond members.
