Richmond and Swinburne have joined forces to develop a new sport media course, the Diploma of Screen and Media (Sports Media), which will see students intern at the Club from July 2017.

Over the duration of the 18-month course, students will learn the key practical and theoretical skills needed to work and thrive as a media professional in the sporting world.

A unique aspect of the course offers Swinburne students the opportunity to intern at Richmond and assist in delivering coverage of the Club’s VFL program.

“Content development will always be the foundation of digital engagement and there will be opportunities beyond the VFL program to give these students new learning experiences and deliver great content for our fans,” Richmond general manager of communications and marketing Simon Matthews said.
