Bendigo Thunder remains undefeated in the NFLW season after defeating Kew by 47 points at Richmond's Swinburne Centre last Sunday. 

The ladder-leading Thunder played their Round 11 clash at Punt Road Oval through the their partnership with the Tigers. 

It marked the first time Bendigo Thunder have played a match at Richmond's headquarters. 

Bendigo's Kodi Jacques and Ayrlea Bailey-Mcclanahan led the scoring with three goals each in the 9.9-63 to 2.4-16 win, while Michelle Barkla and Leah French were among Thunder's best. 

Richmond general manager of communications and marketing said the Club was proud of its partnership with Bendigo Thunder. 

"Richmond is committed to strengthening female football pathways and growing participation and our alignment with the Bendigo Thunder in central to that ambition," Matthews said. 

"We had some Bendigo players train at the Club early last week and it was great to be able to host a Bendigo Thunder home game at the Swinburne Centre on the weekend.

"We expect to be a part of the AFLW competition from 2019 onwards and our alignment with Bendigo will complement an AFLW program perfectly."
