Three familiar faces headline the major squad changes for the VFL Tigers’ clash with Sandringham this Sunday.

Richmond utility Reece Conca is set to make his return after injuring the Lisfranc joint in his foot against Adelaide in Round 6.

Joining him will be defender Steve Morris, who returns from a hamstring injury sustained in the VFL Tigers’ big win over the Northern Blues earlier in the season.

Tall forward Ben Griffiths has also been named in the extended squad after injuring his shoulder in the VFL Tigers’ narrow loss to Collingwood in Round 14, a match which also marked his return from concussion.

In conjunction with the three inclusions, Shaun Hampson is expected to play more game time this Sunday, having played the first half of the VFL clash against Geelong last week with a return of 26 hitouts.

That narrow loss to the Cats will provide plenty of motivation for the VFL Tigers, who can still take a top four spot with two wins from their final two games.

Conversely, a Tiger victory would make Sandringham’s finals hopes a mathematical impossibility, giving the travellers plenty to fight for in Sunday’s bumper clash.

The match will commence at 12pm at the Swinburne Centre at Punt Road Oval, with gates to be opened at 11:30am.
