Richmond champion Matthew Richardson or Adelaide premiership captain Mark Bickley will present this year's cup to the winning team after Saturday's Grand Final.

Since 2004, the AFL has asked a former great of the winning team to be on hand to present the premiership cup, and this year the honour has been given to Hall of Fame inductees Bickley and Richardson.

Richardson played 282 matches for the Tigers between 1993 and 2009, kicking 800 goals and winning the club's goalkicking award on 13 occasions.

The charismatic spearhead was also named All Australian three times and was the Tigers' best and fairest winner in 2007.

Richardson is now a well-known commentator on Channel 7.
