Slick, quick small forward Dan Butler is front and square for the second time in Richmond’s top 10 goals of 2017, with a spectacular six-pointer against Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval in Round 15 that was voted No. 5 overall by Tiger fans.

The Tigers were trailing Port by 10 points in the closing stages of the first half, when Butler received a handball from teammate Dylan Grimes just on the defensive side of the centre square.

Butler, in typically bold style, decided to back himself in and take the game on.

He burst away, took two bounces, evaded a lunging opponent, steadied, and rammed home a dazzling, team-lifting goal.

The fourth and third best Richmond goals of the year, as voted by Yellow and Black barrackers, will be revealed tomorrow, Thursday, October 26.
