Richmond coach Damien Hardwick is not fazed by the Tigers’ interstate record this season.

In the wake of Richmond’s fourth loss on the road from four matches in 2018 – the two-point defeat at the hands of Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium last Saturday night – Hardwick took a pragmatic approach.

“I think you guys (media) make a bigger deal than we do,” Hardwick said.

“It is hard to win interstate. That is life.

“We win a lot at the ‘G’. That is our home ground.

“GWS are a good side.

“All I am worried about is the Saints next week (Friday night at Etihad Stadium) on a short break.

“We look forward to that opportunity.

“We expect to play better than we did tonight.”
