Richmond VFL vice-captain Jacob Ballard will play his 50th game in the yellow and black when his side travels to Geelong tomorrow.

Ballard, 24, joined the VFL Tigers in 2016 after spending two years on Fremantle's rookie list.

He was included in the 2017 VFL Team of the Year following a dominant year for Richmond in the midfield.

The ladder-leading VFL Tigers travel to the Cats' GMHBA Stadium for tomorrow's Round 18 encounter.

Included in the squad is defender Bachar Houli, who will play limited game time as he returns from a groin complaint.
