There have been some cracking goals kicked by Richmond players throughout the course of season 2018, and now we can add Josh Caddy’s name to the list.

Caddy is a Round 22 nominee for the AFL Goal of the Year for his superb six-pointer early in the opening quarter of last Friday night’s victory over Essendon at the MCG.

With the Tigers trailing by seven points, Brandon Ellis received a handball from Daniel Rioli and pumped the ball deep inside 50, where it bounced and rolled into the forward pocket at the city end of the ground.

Caddy pounced, gathered possession and then, on his non-preferred left boot, steered it through the big sticks much to the delight of the Tiger Army.
