Richmond coach Damien Hardwick and captain Trent Cotchin are both poised to go past the greatest Tiger of them all, Jack Dyer, on two prominent Yellow and Black lists in season 2019.

Hardwick has now coached Richmond in 206 games all-up (at a winning strike-rate of 54.3 percent), which places him just 16 behind ‘Captain Blood’, who holds down second spot on the Club’s all-time coaching list.

Four-time Tigers premiership coach Tommy Hafey tops that list on 248 games.

Cotchin has captained Richmond in 140 games overall, which is 20 behind Dyer.

Dual premiership skipper Percy Bentley (1932 and 1934) is No. 1 on the Tigers’ league football captaincy list with 168 games.
