Richmond has become the first AFL team since Brisbane in 1996-98, to play a drawn match three years in-a-row.
The Tigers’ drawn result against North Melbourne in last Sunday’s Round 16 clash at the MCG, followed their tie with the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium last year, and their draw with Brisbane at the same stadium in the 2007 season.
Brisbane drew with Geelong in 1996 and then Port Adelaide in 1997, and again in 1998.
Richmond’s draw with North last Sunday was the 20th in the Club’s AFL/VFL history.
