Jackson aims for senior return

Richmond club champion Dan Jackson has declared himself available to return from a hip injury in Saturday's clash against the Brisbane Lions as the Tigers chase back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

After contemplating retirement, Jackson rediscovered his passion and played with freedom to win the best and fairest for the first time. Released from his usual run-with duties, the midfielder played every game to lead the team for tackles (90), rank equal No. 1 for inside 50s (95) and No. 2 for contested possessions (219) and clearances (84). 

Player honours: 2013 Jack Dyer Medalist; 2nd best and fairest 2009.
Brownlow Medal: 2013 votes 9; career votes 17.
Draft history: 2003  AFL Draft 4th round selection (Richmond) No. 53 overall.
