Player Bio

It was an up-and-down year for the forward/back-up ruckman who had some excellent performances – notably against Carlton in round two and Port Adelaide in round 17. Missed four games late in the season through suspension, with his replacement Ben Griffiths holding his spot. Will face strong competition to regain his place in 2015, given the Tigers’ number of talls, but is a proven goalkicking weapon in attack who competes strongly as a back-up ruck option.

Brownlow Medal: 2014 votes 1; career votes 3.

Draft history: 2008 AFL Draft 1st round selection (Richmond) No. 8 overall.
