Player Bio

The weight of expectation on Vickery can be enormous, with the top-10 draft pick playing the important role of tall forward with Jack Riewoldt set to move up the ground in 2014. Set to play a more permanent forward role in 2014 after the recruitment of Shaun Hampson, expectations will again be high. A shoulder injury ruined his 2012 campaign, but he played 21 games last season, kicking 27 goals and averaging a career-high 5.5 marks.

Brownlow Medal: career votes 2.

Draft history: 2008 AFL Draft 1st round selection (Richmond) No. 8 overall.
