After a 12-month AFL-imposed ban for bringing the game into disrepute, the former West Coast captain and champion on-baller was thrown a lifeline by the Tigers late last year. Just when it seemed several other clubs were reluctant to pursue the 2005 Brownlow medallist, Richmond decided to take him with the very last pick of the Pre-Season Draft. Has kept himself in superb shape and, after arriving at Punt Rd in a mass of media and public interest, looks set to resume his AFL career, with possibly another three years of good football in him. Will help guide and improve a young Richmond midfield.
