A dislocated kneecap early last season severely restricted the NAB AFL Rising Star runner-up of 2006, and he could not find his way back into the senior side after round two. The son of Richmond premiership player Geoff Raines has a steely resolve to return to his best, when he created brilliant run and carry off half-back.
