Dylan Grimes, hamstring

"Dylan will be sent for scans today (Tuesday) to check the severity of the injury. It's a fairy stock-standard type hamstring injury, running at reasonable high speed. He noticed it in the third quarter and came off the ground. It's really unfortunate for Dylan and for us. The last two months, Dylan's training has been interrupted quite frequently with various things. In January, he had a calf injury off the Christmas break and then he hurt his ankle in training, then he had COVID in the pre-season, then hurt his thumb... It's fair to say he's been very interrupted. His preparation hasn't been perfect, and there's no doubt that's probably played a bit of a role in this. It's just a really difficult situation, he was available to play and trained all last week, and it's not a great result for Dylan. But, we're going to do some good work in his rehab going forward and make sure we get him right and give him some consistently at training and then when he's back, we want him to stay back."

Jack Riewoldt, thumb

"Jack completed most of training at the end of last week but it was deemed by the match committee that he wasn't quite ready to go. He's training this week and if he completes training this Thursday, he'll be available for selection."

Dion Prestia, hamstring

"Dion's been really good. He's had a really good last two weeks. So, he's going to end up having only missed two games. He completed a huge session last Saturday and he's ticked all the boxes. He's worked really hard, as he did the previous couple of months, with his preparation. So, he trained today and he will train our main training on Thursday, and if that goes to plan, then he's available for selection for Saturday night."

Nick Vlastuin, hamstring

"Nick's going very well. He's now kicking the footy further with more intensity. He looked really good today... We feel like we've got over the hump there, and now it's just about consolidating and making sure we get a couple more back-to-back sessions...He won't play this week but it's looking pretty good for next week."

Kane Lambert, hip

"Kane, the last two weeks, has done our main training session. He's doing one main session per week and a light running session earlier in the week with his longer-term hip management. He'll repeat that process again this week. He's ticking a lot of boxes and it's going really well for Kane. He's getting some back-to-back sessions together and is going great which is fantastic for him."
