Richmond has made six changes for tomorrow night’s clash with West Coast at Optus Stadium.

The Tigers have been bolstered by the return of reigning Jack Dyer Medallist and the Club’s co-captain Dylan Grimes, while triple premiership star Kane Lambert has been selected to play his first senior game for 2022.

Exciting youngsters Sydney Stack and Maurice Rioli Jnr will also appear at AFL level for the first time this year and ruckman Ivan Soldo is back to support Toby Nankervis in the ruck.

Grimes has had a frustrating start to his first season as Richmond skipper, with a thumb injury clouding his preparation for Round 1 and a hamstring injury ruling him out for the past three games.

The reliable defender, who also missed the Round 2 win against GWS through soreness, will help solidify a back-six that has only just regained triple premiership star Nick Vlastuin in recent weeks.

Lambert will be another welcome addition for the Tigers, having missed much of the pre-season and early rounds due to persistent hip issues.

The 30-year-old was managed last week but able to gather 25 disposals and boot two goals from three quarters in the Tigers’ VFL match against Carlton a fortnight ago.

Stack has been rewarded for consistent form at the lower level, where he has averaged 15 disposals and almost two goals per game.

The livewire will offer coach Damien Hardwick an option all around the ground, although he has been used mainly in attack throughout 2022.

Maurice Rioli Junior will get his third taste of senior AFL action, a reward for his strong start to the VFL season.

The 19-year-old has been able to find more of the ball throughout 2022, adding a new layer to his consistently exceptional tackling and pressure game.

Premiership ruckman Ivan Soldo returns to the team for the first time since Round 3 after two excellent recent games in the VFL.

Soldo has overcome the minor toe issue that saw him miss out on selection at both levels last weekend.

Making way from last week’s team is Robbie Tarrant and Trent Cotchin, who have been managed, Thomson Dow (corked thigh), Matthew Parker (omitted), Rhyan Mansell (omitted) and Jack Ross (omitted).

Bigoa Nyuon and Jake Aarts have been named as emergencies alongside Mansell and Ross.

Richmond will confirm which player comes in as the medical substitute 60 minutes prior to tomorrow night’s bounce.

The clash can be viewed live on Channel 7 and FOX FOOTY.
