Star Richmond midfielder Dustin Martin has been offered a $1500 fine by the AFL's Match Review Officer for contact made with an umpire in yesterday's 18-point win over Geelong at the MCG.

The 26-year-old has been charged with making careless contact with umpire Jacob Mollison late in the third quarter of Sunday's match, but will be free with an early plea to face Sydney at Etihad Stadium in the opening match of Round 15.

Martin was previously fined $1000 for making careless contact with umpire Curtis Deboy in the Round 6 win over Collingwood.
