Richmond has brought in two talented, young players for tomorrow night’s big clash with Adelaide at the MCG.

Midfielder Corey Ellis and tall forward Callum Moore are the replacements for Nick Vlastuin, who is serving a one-match suspension and Reece Conca, who has a dislocated ankle.

Ellis has played just two AFL games this season with his last senior appearance for the Tigers being in the Round 2 loss to the Crows at Adelaide Oval.

The 21-year-old has been in fine form at VFL level over the past few weeks.

He picked up 26 disposals in a top-class performance against Box Hill at Punt Road last Saturday, which drew praise from the Club’s development coach Xavier Clarke in his VFL players’ report for richmondfc.com.au earlier this week.

“Played midfield for half of the game and went down to half-back for the second half. He was pretty dominant for us down there, read the play well and set us up in attack. He’s playing good footy and is in really good form at the moment,” Clarke said.

Moore has played three senior games previously this season, from Round 10-12.

His strong display in the VFL against Box Hill last round prompted Clarke to say, “Was a good forward-50 target for us. He finished the game with 2.4, which was a pleasing effort for him. He’s in good form and doing all he can to put his name forward for senior selection.”

Richmond’s four emergencies for the Friday night match against Adelaide are Ryan Garthwaite, Shai Bolton, Kamdyn McIntosh and Connor Menadue.
