Richmond has regained the valuable services of top midfielder Kane Lambert for Thursday night’s big qualifying final clash with Hawthorn at the MCG.

He has trained strongly this week and is ready to go against the Hawks, which is great news for the Tigers, given his importance within the line-up.

Lambert, coming off a third-place finish in last year’s Jack Dyer Medal, is averaging 22.6 disposals per game this season and has kicked a total of 15 goals.

The unlucky Richmond player to make way for Lambert’s inclusion in the side is Brandon Ellis, who has been omitted.

Ellis is one of the Tigers’ four emergencies for the match, along with Sam Lloyd, Connor Menadue and Ryan Garthwaite.
