The VFLW Tigers were back on the training track on Wednesday afternoon, continuing preparations for the start of their season in May.

Tom Hunter's side jelled well in their first session at Tigerland for 2019, with the girls showcasing both their summer fitness and enthusiam ahead of their second season in the VFLW.

Next on the agenda for the Tigers is a pre-season bonding camp in Anglesea in February.

The camp will offer players the chance to immerse themselves in the pre-season, and, importantly, familiarise themselves with one another and the Richmond brand.

On their way home from the camp, the group plan to stop by GMHBA Stadium to watch Geelong v Collingwood in the first round of the 2019 AFLW season.

A fitting activity, with the Club joining the AFLW ranks next year after officially being granted a licence for the 2020 AFL Women's season.

The AFLW Tigers side will soon start to take shape, with Richmond now able to pre-list up to 10 players. This signing period will be open until August.
