The Tiger Army has shown its incredible strength by reaching an enormous 100,000 members for the second consecutive year.

Richmond reached the AFL/VFL record for the first time in July last year and remains the only AFL Club to have 100,000 members.

The current tally which sits at 100,150 is an increase of 7,301 from the same day last year – a mark of the Tiger Army’s continued growth.

The Club is now in a position to eclipse its all-time membership record of 101,433, set in 2018.

Richmond CEO, Brendon Gale, thanked all Richmond members for their ongoing passion and loyalty.

“We’re so proud and humbled to celebrate reaching 100,000 members for the second consecutive year,” he said.

“It is a credit to the entire Tiger Army to help us achieve this milestone, they are the best supporters in the league, and continue to be our Club’s greatest strength.

“We love nothing more than seeing our members and supporters turn out to support us at our games, it spurs on our players, and a sea of yellow and black is a wonderful sight.”

Richmond will celebrate the membership milestone at its next home game against Hawthorn at the MCG on May 19, with more details to be communicated to members this Friday, May 10.
