Star Richmond duo Kane Lambert and Tom Lynch were Tiger standouts in the Round 17 voting for the 2019 AFL Coaches’ Association’s Player of the Year award.

They both received nine votes for their excellent performances in Richmond’s decisive win against Greater Western Sydney at the MCG.

Lambert finished the match with 19 disposals, four clearances, six marks, three goals, 10 score involvements and 317 metres gained.

Lynch had 18 disposals, with a team-high 13 contested possessions, four inside-50s, 11 score involvements, took four marks and also kicked three goals.

Tiger young gun Shai Bolton was given five votes for his sparkling display through the midfield – an AFL career-high 29 disposals, five inside-50s, four clearances, six marks, six tackles, one goal, seven score involvements and 355 metres gained.

Rounding out the Richmond Round 17 vote-getters were Brandon Ellis and David Astbury, who polled one apiece.
