Star midfield duo Dustin Martin and Dion Prestia were Richmond’s statistics standouts in the 2019 premiership season.

A thorough statistical analysis of the Club’s playing group shows that Martin features in the top five of the key categories more than any other Tiger, but Prestia, who won his inaugural Jack Dyer Medal this year, is ahead in terms of No. 1 rankings.

Martin’s name appears 14 times in the 20 specific categories (four times as No. 1), with Prestia next best on 12 (seven times as No. 1), followed by Bachar Houli (once as No. 1) on 10, Shane Edwards (none as No. 1) and Kane Lambert (none as No. 1) on nine, then Tom Lynch (three times as No. 1) and Nick Vlastuin (three as No. 1) both on eight.
