Richmond has added nine players to its squad for Sunday afternoon’s match against Sydney at the Gabba.

The Tigers are set to make at least five changes to the side for their first clash since arriving in the Gold Coast hub earlier this week.

Dion Prestia, Trent Cotchin and Toby Nankervis will miss the clash through injury, while Shane Edwards and Bachar Houli are also unavailable for selection, having remained in Melbourne for family reasons.

Big-bodied midfielder Riley Collier-Dawkins is a chance to make his long-awaited senior debut this Sunday. The 20-year-old was Richmond’s first pick (No. 20) in the 2018 NAB AFL Draft.

Ruck duo Ivan Soldo and Callum Coleman-Jones have both been named for a potential recall in place of Nankervis.

Jack Ross and Shai Bolton, who were both omitted from Richmond's Round 5 side, are in line to make their senior returns, while Marlion Pickett and Jack Graham are also in the mix having been omitted the week prior.

Creative half-back Derek Eggmolesse-Smith could return for his third senior outing, and young defender Ryan Garthwaite has also been included for potentially his first AFL game since Round 13, 2019.

Richmond will finalise its Round 6 line-up on Friday at 5pm.
