Richmond champion Dustin Martin encapsulated the connection and togetherness that exists among the Tigers’ playing group with the comments he made in an on-ground interview following last Friday night’s resounding victory over St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

“We’re just a team and we love seeing another bloke do better . . . (it’s the) Richmond way,” Martin said on Channel Seven.

“It’s just the little things, it’s just the care that we show. And all the boys do it.

“We just love playing with each other . . .

“Really proud of the boys tonight.”

Martin certainly did his bit yet again for the Tigers, with a game-high 34 disposals, game-high eight inside-50s, five clearances, one goal, five score involvements and a game-high 562 metres gained against the Saints.
