Exciting youngsters Thomson Dow and Bigoa Nyuon will play their first VFL games for Richmond when the Tigers meet Werribee tomorrow.

Dow, Richmond’s first selection at the 2019 NAB AFL Draft, will be a welcome addition for the VFL Tigers having impressed in scrimmage games last year.

The youngster who earned an AFL debut in Round 14 and played a second match the following week, has been unavailable for selection the past month after having his appendix removed.

Dow’s return will be his first match at VFL level for Richmond due to last year’s cancelled season.

Nyuon was selected with pick No. 54 overall in the same draft as Dow. The young defender will also officially appear for the VFL Tigers for the first time, having served a two-match suspension stemming from a recent VFL practice match.

The 19-year-old missed most of last year with a shoulder injury but has impressed during his time at the Club with his excellent athleticism and vertical leap.

Richmond’s game with Werribee will be streamed live via the 7plus app and streaming services, which can be downloaded for free.

The opening bounce is set for 2.05pm.
