Matthew Parker and Mate Colina will make their first appearances for Richmond this Sunday when the VFL Tigers meet Williamstown at Downer Oval. 

Parker joined the Club less than a month ago when Richmond selected him from South Fremantle with pick No.10 in the AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft.

The 25-year-old midfield/forward played 19 games for St Kilda between 2019 and 2020 after being selected with pick No. 47 in the 2018 AFL National Draft.

Colina was signed as a Category B rookie last September after spending the past two years playing basketball for the University of Hawaii.

The 21-year-old, who is the cousin of Richmond defender Noah Balta, returned to Australia in March following the conclusion of the college basketball season. 

At 213cm, he is the tallest player on an AFL list.

Also featuring in Richmond's line-up for the clash with the Seagulls are premiership Tigers Marlion Pickett, who is a former South Fremantle teammate of Parker, and Daniel Rioli. 

Tiger tall Ryan Garthwaite will make his return from a shoulder injury, while young defender Bigoa Nyuon has been selected to play following a recent knee complaint.

Sunday's match will be Richmond's first VFL game since its Round 6 win over Brisbane on Saturday, May 22. 

The clash will be broadcast live and free on 7mate and 7Plus.
