Richmond has added five players to its squad for Sunday afternoon’s crunch clash against Geelong at the MCG.

Triple premiership veteran Shane Edwards headlines the inclusions, with the 32-year-old named on the wing.

Josh Caddy, Riley Collier-Dawkins, Callum Coleman-Jones, and Hugo Ralphsmith will also be considered for returns, with the quartet among eight players named on the extended interchange.

Caddy has not featured at senior level since the Round 13 loss to West Coast at Optus Stadium.

The experienced midfielder/forward has put together strong form at VFL level and was terrific in Richmond’s most recent VFL match, gathering 39 disposals against Collingwood on July 11.

2021 debutants Collier-Dawkins (eight games) and Ralphsmith (four) could also regain their spots in the AFL side after losing their places in recent weeks.

Tall forward Callum Coleman-Jones who missed the past two games with a calf complaint will also be considered for selection on Sunday after completing training on Wednesday.

Dustin Martin (kidney) and Kamdyn McIntosh (hamstring) are forced omissions from last weekend’s team.

Richmond will confirm its starting 22 at 5pm tomorrow. Sunday’s game will commence at 3.20pm and be broadcast live on FOX FOOTY and Kayo.
