He bowed out as the club’s longest-serving skipper, leading the Tigers on 188 occasions, overseeing seven finals series and winning three premierships (both club records).
He added 17 games to his career tally in 2021 and is expected to move into Richmond’s top 10 list of games played this year.
Into his 30s, Cotchin has one year remaining on his contract.
