Richmond AFLW has named its squad for Sunday morning's practice match against Hawthorn at the MCG.

Twenty-five players will participate in the Tigers' official practice match of the pre-season in the historic double header at the 'G, following the team's 63-point match simulation win over Fremantle last weekend.

The game will be Richmond final competitive hit-out before the Club embarks on its fourth season in the competition. The Tigers take on Geelong in the opening round of the season on Sunday, August 28 at GMHBA Stadium from 4.10pm AEST.

The Tiger Army will get a proper look at recruits Grace Egan, Steph Williams and Libby Graham in their first official practice match in the Yellow and Black, as well as draftee duo Eilish Sheerin and Katelyn Cox.

Skipper Katie Brennan will miss the clash as she continues to build her training loads from a foot injury sustained in Season 6.

The 29-year-old has had an interrupted pre-season due to the issue but is progressing well and is a probable chance to be available for the Round 1 clash against Geelong in a fortnight.

The remainder of Richmond's newly-appointed leadership group in Sarah Hosking, Monique Conti, Gabby Seymour and Bec Miller, have all been named to play.

Sunday's clash kicks off at 10.30am AEST at the MCG ahead of the 1.10pm AFL clash. All fans with tickets to Richmond's AFL game can also access the AFLW game.

Live vision of the match will be available on richmondfc.com.au and our Official Club App, from approximately 10.30am AEST.
