Richmond Wheelchair Team's 2023 season will begin on Sunday, May 7 against Hawthorn at the Boroondara Sports Complex.

The fixture for the 2023 Robert Rose Foundation Victorian Wheelchair Football League season was announced this week, as the Tigers look to defend their 2022 premiership.

Following Round 1 against the Hawks, Richmond will take on both Collingwood and Essendon in Round 2 on Sunday, May 21 as part of the Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

Round 7 on Sunday, June 25 will mark Richmond's dedicated 'Marquee match' home round, hosted at the Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre in Greensborough.

Pride Round will be held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on Sunday, July 23, when the Tigers come up against Collingwood and St Kilda on the weekend of Round 11.

Richmond will also head regionally to Torquay's Wurdi Baierr Stadium in Round 9, and Bendigo's Red Energy Arena in Round 13.

The Tigers' primary squad will be made up of seven players; Vincent Naidu, Chris Henderson, Angelo Mavroudis, James Weinert, Judeland Antony, Teisha Shadwell and Mitch Stretton.

Richmond has also named Matt Morris, Miranda Charlton, Peter Ogunyemi and Chris Kotsanis as their supplementary players.
