Joel Garner will again pull on the yellow and black in the 2026 VFL season, after putting pen to paper.
The vice-captain played 14 matches this season, including his appearances in Richmond's Wildcard and Elimination Finals against GWS and Brisbane.
Garner starred against the Sandringham Zebras in Round 2, collecting 24 disposals and kicking the winning goal after the siren at RSEA Park, continuing his hot streak of form as the season progressed.
The 26-year-old also notched 30 touches against the Giants at Engie Stadium in Round 10, starring in Richmond's 12-point victory away from home.
The inside midfielder also continued his work in the AFL program as an Indigenous Player Development Manager throughout the 2025 season.
Garner's return will help bolster the leadership of a young Tigers brigade under new coach Jack Madgen in 2026.
