Richmond’s VFL coach Tim Clarke continues his special off-season assessment of the young Tigers, who played predominantly under him at Coburg throughout the year.  Today, he reviews the 2013 season and future prospects of Brett O’Hanlon.

AFL debut:  Round 11, 2012 v Fremantle, MCG

Tim Clarke says:  “Brett was limited this year due to an ankle injury.

“He’s a very good player, but his range of movement was limited because of the injury he carried throughout the year.

“He had an operation in the last few weeks to get that fixed.

“He’s a drifting half-forward-type player.

“We tried him on the wing and at half-back, but I think we’ll settle with him as that third or fourth forward, who can play a key-position role, and also come up the ground.”
