Richmond has named its extended VFL squad for the Tigers’ Round 14 match against Geelong at Simonds Stadium this Saturday night.

Due to the AFL team not being finalised until 5pm this Friday, the entire seven-man AFL interchange bench has been named in the VFL squad.

One notable inclusion to the VFL this weekend is Richmond utility, Chris Knights, who is set to make his return to the playing field after overcoming a persistent knee injury.

Richmond will meet the Cats for the second time this season, after beating them by 51 points at the ME Bank Centre in Round 5.

It’s another crucial game for the Tigers as they aim to stay in touch with the top half of the ladder. Richmond currently sits two games outside the top eight.
