Richmond has named its 31-man extended squad for the final home-and-away game of the season this Sunday.

The Tigers take on second-placed Footscray at Richmond’s home, the ME Bank Centre, Punt Road Oval.

Key defender, David Astbury will play his first game since Round 9, after injuring his knee against Melbourne.

The reliable backman was having his best season of league football until injury struck again, however his uninterrupted recovery has allowed him to return to the playing field in time for the final VFL match of the season.

The final VFL team will be known tomorrow (Friday), when Richmond’s senior team is finalised.

The match starts at 1pm on Sunday, and will be another curtain raiser to the AFL team’s final home game of the season at the MCG at 4:40pm.
