Five of the Richmond VFL team’s nine home games at the ME Bank Centre in season 2015 will be played as curtain-raisers to the AFL Tigers’ AFL fixtures.

The first of these is set down for Saturday, May 2, against Geelong at 11am, with an AFL meeting of the two clubs to follow at the MCG from 1.45pm.

This was revealed in the 2015 VFL fixture, released today (December 18).

The Richmond VFL side also will play ME Bank Centre curtain-raisers against Collingwood on Sunday, May 17 at 12.30pm, Essendon on Saturday, May 30 (Dreamtime) at 2pm, Sandringham on Saturday, July 25 at 1.30pm, and Coburg on Sunday, August 16 at 10.30am.

There will be a further two Richmond VFL away games during the 2015 season that will be curtain-raisers to the Tigers’ AFL matches.

In Round 19, Richmond will play Collingwood at Victoria Park from 10.30am, before the two clubs meet in an AFL clash later that day (1.45pm) at the MCG.

And, the final VFL home-and-away round match against Essendon at Windy Hill on Saturday, August 29, from 1pm, will precede the AFL encounter between the two clubs at the MCG (7.20pm start).
