Richmond’s partnership with AGL Energy Limited (AGL) will continue until at least the end of 2016.

The partnership was extended after a successful first year in 2014, following AGL’s takeover of Australian Power and Gas at the end of 2013.

AGL is one of Australia's leading integrated energy companies and largest ASX listed owner, operator and developer of renewable energy generation in the country.

“The first year of our partnership with AGL has been extremely successful, and we’re thrilled to be able to work together for a further two years,” said Richmond CEO Brendon Gale.

“The partnership has made a positive impact in a short time, with AGL engaging in a wide range of club activities, including the installation of LED lighting at the ME Bank Centre.”

AGL General Manager Marketing & Retail Sales, Mark Brownfield, said the results of the first year of the partnership led to the renewal of the partnership for a further two years.

“After an excellent first year, we are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Richmond, and will be engaging Tiger fans with some great offers and activations during the season,” he said.
